    • Mrs. Mary Jardine, 85, Durand, died Thursday at the Chippewa Valley Area Nursing Home, here.

      The daughter of John and Anna (Riley) Myers, she was born May 20, 1889, in the town of Canton, Buffalo County. She married Dr. E.W. Jardine in 1919.

      In the 1920 census, Ed, Mary, and son John are living in Alma, Ed working as a physician. Mary is listed as born in Wisconsin, her father in Pennsylvania and her mother in Vermont.

      Ed died in 1936. Mary lived in Alma, Wis., until moving to Durand in 1937.

      Survivors are: one son, John, Durand; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Agnes Langdon and Mrs. Josephine Hedin, Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Ellen McDonough, Nelson, Wis.; Mrs. Rose Urness, Mondovi, Wis., and Mrs. Anna Castelberg, Sun Valley, Calif.

      Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Durand, the Rev. Msgr. Stephen Anderl officiating. Burial will be in Alma, Wis., Cemetery.

      Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at Rhiel Funeral Home, Durand, where a prayer service will be at 8.
