- Lincoln librarian looked in the cemetery records for Isabel and Medicine Lodge (county seat of Barber County) and found Pearl B. Gillis in Isabel born December 3, 1887 died March 4, 1908. Spouse was M. C. Ford; no children listed. I checked in the newspaper for an obit but found none. You might want to check in Pratt County as Isabel is on the county line and some people up there consider Pratt home town. Also thought it odd she was buried as Gillis instead of Ford.
