  MERRY, Nancy Ann (Muir), age 72, of McGregor passed away on April 11, 2017. She was born on Feb. 28, 1945, in Jackson, MN to Vyrn and Petra Muir. She grew up on a century farm and enjoyed riding her horse, Beauty, and 4-H activities. She attended UM-Mankato and earned a degree in Home Economics with a minor in Biology. She and her husband were residents of Maplewood, MN for many years and she was an active volunteer with Girl Scouts, the Presbyterian church and many other volunteer activities. The family enjoyed many trips in the camper to northern Minnesota and to tourist destinations across America. Nancy loved horses, sewing, crocheting and reading - she always carried a book in her purse. She is survived by her husband, Frank; four daughters, Wendy (Patrick) McKellips of Stillwater, Brenda (Mike) Boone of Faribault, Debra Wickham of East Bethel and Karen (Chad) Wasmundt of Stillwater; also 9 grandchildren, four brothers and sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews. She will always be loved and deeply missed. Visitation at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m. on Thursday April 20 at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center in Stillwater. Private interment at Sunset Cemetery at a later date. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of donor's choice.
